Ah, good times. Good times.
And some pretty damn good times on the set of Dark Matter.
Today, we were at the headquarters of Alexander Rook’s Dwarf Star Technologies for the episode in which our crew bring in their air conditioning unit to get repaired. Riveting stuff!
We also shut down production so that Peter and I could do an interview for the Brampton Film Office. While we were chatting, an extra strayed out of his pen and wound up accidentally locking himself in the men’s bathroom for most of the afternoon.

Add one to the loss column for me. 4-3 now. I can’t wait until each episode actually airs, so the titles make sense in connection to each one. Oooh! There’s an idea for you Joe. A blog post the day after the episode airs, explaining each title choice and how it related to that episode.
This title is intriguing though was not my pick. There are several possibilities to who “she” is. Could be our new character Nyx, “she” now becoming a member of the Raza crew as spoken by someone from outside the crew like the GA or one of the Corporations. Could be a reference regarding Portia/Rebecca by Alexander Rook. Maybe the Zobot is now considered a full fledged member of the crew, accepted even by Three. What I don’t want it to be is either Two or Five (after being brainwashed of course) leaving the ship/crew.
Nice to see Peter back! (“Bigger! What is it about the word BIGGER that you don’t understand?”). Hopefully his episode will have lots of explosions!
Interesting Dwarf Star teaser. Doubt the crew will receive a warm reception.

Those space drones were so cool sigh.. There was something eerily menacing about machines that would camp out at stars across a galaxy to prevent you from re fueling.
Someone said “she’s one of them” could be going to the other side… but I read it as possibly one of THEM meaning the crew. Could go either way so it’s a good vote. 🙂

Oh poo. I didn’t get a chance to vote. Been so tired in the evenings lately, I get home late, then fall asleep and wake up in time to go to bed. My dad came home, so you’d think I would be less busy. But no. And now I have developed stomach problems. Gee, wonder why. Probably ulcers.

YAY!!! I finally picked one that one, YAY!!!! 😉
Working on an animation project that’s worth 40% of my final mark, no pressure….. Putting it against a green piece of bristol board to create a greeenscreen so I can incorporate some video footage I took when on the train trip heading out to Saskatchewan for Christmas. It’s a GROUP project so I hope that what I’m doing works well with what everyone else has done. The fact that Alec, the actor I had play the part of “Noah” in “Weird Saturday” is the person we’re basing the character’s look on (yes he’s in our group lol) is one of the unifying things we have in our project, along with the colour blue (I am making him an Oilers fan of Andy Moog to incorporate the colour, as apparently when he was younger he played as a goalie, so it fits, lol). Depending on my other group members, hopefully I’ll be able to post the finished product on here! 🙂
Poor extra! His 15 mins of fame lasted a lot longer than he was hoping and not in the way he’d planned. Was Bubba charging up somewhere else? I’m sure Three could have blasted the door down real quick! Or were you worried about the insurance?
Not my title choice but now can’t wait to see who ‘she’ is…

The episode ‘obviously’ fits in with all the possible titles, so my thoughts are the same as @Maggie L80 and Nyx.
She was in prison so ‘You’re Not Alone’ and ‘The Past Has A Way Of Catching Up With You’ relate well.
‘It’s Very….Snug’ could be reference to the living quarters space/space on the Raza because of another crew member joining them.
And our chosen title ‘She’s One Of Them’ spoken by someone from her past – a previous friend/fellow prisoner.
I’m re-watching Stargate: SG-1 at the moment (half way through Season 6) and I’ve been enjoying spotting all the Peter DeLuise cameos. The most subtle was the reflection of candles in the shape of “PDL” in the SGC’s observation window.
I think I’m 1 for 7. Ugh. Still REALLY miss SG-U.
I really miss SGU as well. I need to fire up those DVD’s again. And so cool to see Peter D. hanging around. I hope he’s been yelling “BIGGER!” a lot.

@Ponytail Thanks for the BD wishes. I wouldn’t be surprised if you have GI problems with all the stress you have. I know how impossible it may sound, but you need to go see someone for that before it becomes a problem like a bleeding ulcer. If you need to be there for your family, then you need to make your health a priority (yes, I know I haven’t been too great in doing that myself but I think if it was something that would land me in a hospital, I would pay attention to it).
I miss SGU so much too. Welcome back Peter!
