Finally, the weekend is here! For most of us. But, for director Amanda Tapping and the Dark Matter crew, it was…not quite! Their weekend doesn’t begin until tomorrow because, today, they were back on set shooting Day#4 of Episode #201.

Today was the first day/episode for THIS Stargate alum who I’d been wanting to cast since early last season. In retrospect, it turned out for the best because I can’t imagine anyone else playing this character. In fact, when I created the character, I did so with THIS performer in mind. Who am I talking about? Well, you’ll have to wait for the press release coming your way next week.

Such happy faces! It does look like a wonderful Saturday. I spent much of mine putting up my kitchen holiday decor with my husband, and catching up on the DVR backlog.

hmmmmm no idea. Albeit whoever thought it up designed the back panel inside it to resemble a brightly lit up digital car stereo.
Maybe? its part of some kind of new transport device using radio frequencies.

I’ve been hoping all along for Mike Dopud and David Blue. I don’t know how full Mike’s schedule is on Cedar Cove, or whether he’s filming on the east coast or west. He might be hard to get. Sadly, David has had minimal work since SGU. He could really use the work. He’s lost all that weight and muscled up, and grew a beard to age his baby face, so he doesn’t look like Eli Wallace anymore.
I’m with you @MrsTigercat and would love to see Mike Dopud.
He’s just been filming in TO for the last couple of days – maybe it really was to shoot some scenes for DM? Now, that’d be so cool 😊

All working hard I see… Can you ask the crew to move as I can’t see the action. I can’t guess which Stargate alum it could be … I have ideas… It would be good if it’s ##. Be bril if its…*** (I learn from the master!) I guess I’ll just have to wait … again….
That overhead view of solitary confinement is looking very intriguing. Who’s going to be in it and for what, and for how long??

@MrsTigerCat Cedar Cove was oddly cancelled. It was the #1 rated cable show on Saturdays, and it was cancelled. So all the SG alumni who were on there are now totally available.
