I don’t know if I want to help pick a shuttle design for one of my favorite shows. Sounds kinda hard and I’m feeling lazy.

I just got a replacement dryer for my laundry, those labels from the art department would be perfect for ones laundry room.

I like the use of the hexagons in the concept art (reference to six in different aspects – cast numbers and the traitor?)
But why use an octagon, instead of keeping a hexagonal design, in the middle of the Cell IDs, maybe because the prison facility is Hyperion 8?

One of my favorite ‘Stupid Human Tricks’ from the David Letterman show featured a guy who changed his shirt while spinning around in a laundry-mat sized dryer.

Why are there dogs on the laundry labels?
Regarding the “high speed spins” warning. Dark Matter is set way in the future. We have locking doors on washing machines NOW. They would have locking doors then and there, too. The notice should read, “Door locks automatically at beginning of cycle. Do not attempt to override this lock.” Or words to that effect. Go to any laundromat that has a high capacity, front loading washer and read that warning on the door. It’s not science fiction if we have had it in the present since the 20th century.
BTW, the first label about crushing hands, looks like a dog being crushed. I had to look at the others to recognize what the first one meant. May need to re-draw that first one. We can’t even be hinting at suggesting crushing dogs. 🙁
Still loving Roxanne Borris’s icon work. I wish I had the money to hire such a talented designer. I’m stuck using Gimp to get silhouettes from photos.

Green screen …. mmm, I’m not a fan of it really. Unless green is part of the set colours, watch out for that sneaky green spill on set reflections and characters eyes and skin. Other colours can be used – Original ‘Total Recall’ used red screen so any spill didn’t show/looked like it was meant to be there…
Blue is an ‘invisible’ colour. Renoir used it a lot as an optical effect in his paintings….
Anyways …. that’s just my views on green screen … or not green screen 😏

LOL I thought someone was trying to iron a dog, too. Have you looked up Whirlpool’s The Swash? It’s $500 at Bloomingdale’s. It’s supposed to be the “next big thing.” Especially for guys who hate laundry and ironing.
