This time, it was Taiwan Fest where Akemi and I enjoyed grilled spicy squid, even spicier lamb skewers, and more inclement weather!
Akemi keeping her spirits up…
No food festivals tomorrow. It’s Draft Day! Time to set aside my script and start some intensive fantasy football research!
Akemi seems to be one happy food festival camper there!
Looks like a good time, although you might consider that oyster omelet as inspiration for your next horror movie script.
Speaking of scripts. There a little more than 24 hours to bid on SG-1 “Ripple Effect” signed by Joe with notes! Look back at: http://josephmallozzi.wordpress.com/2014/08/14/august-14-2014-doggy-updates-and-a-mini-mailbag/ This is to help my daughter, Bethany (16 years old, sophomore), raise funds for her psychiatric service dog, Madoka’s (6 mths old), training, vet bills, and purchasing her (we are making pmts to the breeder). Bethany has anxiety, depression, asthma, and is having other issues (possible seizures, seeing neurologist this week). Madoka will help Bethany greatly! You can bid on the script at https://www.facebook.com/groups/332854913534175/ or if you like to make a donation go to http://www.gofundme.com/ServiceDog4BethanyDraves Online auction ends on 9/1 at 10:00 CST. Thank you Joe!! Today’s silent auction raised almost $600!!!
I can vaguely remember, but is not at the end of Gastown a spiderman cartoon like building? Steamed buns, I love steamed buns with pork. So did you pit your E-bay bid on the first Superman comic book?
That goopy oyster omelet looks disgusting. 😛
das
Skewer me for sure, love spicy meat on a stick, espcially since my mom never let us eat street food; all those delicious smells would drive us nuts.
Akemi is wearing what looks like a winter coat. It’s a “feels-like” temperature of 101 down here. Ugh.
